pretPin® – a milestone in electrical connection technology
In the field of contact systems, Possehl Electronics has evolved known, flexible pressfit contacts with its pretPin® contact family and optimized additional new material alloys.
This contact system allows solderless electrical connection to electronic circuit boards using a purely mechanical pressing in metallized boreholes (pressfit contacting) and therefore presents a very advanced and economical solution that is increasingly being considered as one of the key technologies in mechatronic components for the automotive industry.
These flexible contact geometries can also be used in modified form for surface contacting on an electronic substrate (press-on contacting).
