Large-scale plants which spray hot plastic onto highly sensitive parts; that is one of the largest divisions at Possehl Electronics – our plastics processing – and therefore your place of work as a plastics and rubber technologist.
You get to know our ultramodern and complex injection molding machines in all their detail and will be able to handle them like no other when you have finished your training.
As a process mechanic, you are a specialist in the field of plastics and plastic processing and are able to competently answer our customers’ questions regarding this material and its processing.
A team of specialists is at your side throughout your entire training to support you in all issues to do with your vocational training.

Duration of training
3 years
First,
you begin with a 1-year basic “Metal” training in our training workshop. There, you learn all the basic skills in all important manual and automatic processing techniques.
Then,
you are taught the specific technical training content in a tour of the company departments such as the operation and programming of injection molding machines, quality control of machines and moldings, tool maintenance and the basics of plastic processing.

- Operating Technology
After training,
you will be employed, for example, as an adjuster in our production for ambitious and complex plastic moldings.
